Family is one of the most important things we value here at RJS Heating & Cooling. Like you, we want only the best for our families, especially when it comes to home comfort. Whether the heater has failed as the temperature drops or the air conditioner refuses to run in the middle of a blazing summer, our family owned and operated company is here to help. For over half a century, our HVAC contractors have provided countless families with the reliable heating and cooling service they deserve. Allow us to do the same for your family and experience complete comfort and satisfaction.
As a boy, our founder, Scott Pearlman, worked for his father’s business, Tracy Service Company in Philadelphia. When Scott moved to Chicago in 1978, he started working for his stepfather, Ray Johnson. At the time, the name of the company was RJ Heating and Air Conditioning which was located out of Bensenville, Illinois. The company handled all of the HVAC installations for Montgomery Ward until it closed in 1981.
RJ Heating and Air Conditioning changed their name to RJ & Son Heating and Cooling and began installing furnaces and air conditioning units for Sears. Scott managed to install a large number of humidifiers a day, causing Sears in Woodfield Mall to sell out all of their units!
Soon after, Scott decided to take a move up and in 2000, he bought into RJ & Son as a partner where the name of the company was formally changed in 2010 to RJS Heating & Cooling. We currently operate out of offices in Roselle and the Roselle area for fast HVAC service in neighborhoods close to your home.
To this day, Scott emphasizes his philosophy of hard work, honesty, credibility, and family that he instills into his business. RJS is a Trane Comfort Specialist offering the highest quality service and installation since 1961. We also offer financing options with approved credit, so you can pay over time.
RJS also emphasizes going green to help the environment. In order to do their part, they have a special recycling truck for scrap metal as well as a cardboard dumpster. Yes! We can haul your trash away whenever we install a new unit in your home.
